This is me. I sit in a dark room with minimal human interaction, making highly talented people appear even more amazing.
My journey in the world of visual storytelling began in high school when I had the opportunity to work with Anaysa, one of India’s leading content creators. This early experience ignited my passion for the visual arts and set me on a path to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Cinema with a specialization in post-production from the Asian Academy of Film and Television in Noida.
In 2022, I joined the editorial team of the award-winning independent feature film “Ordhek Swapna” as first assistant editor.
After which I went on to edit various short films such as "Grey," "Vanilla," "Furs and Strands," and the documentary "Questionnaire." I find documentary editing particularly fascinating, as it allows for greater creative freedom compared to narrative films, where the editor’s role is more about adhering to and refining the narrative structure.
In 2023, I moved to London to advance my studies with a Master’s degree in Filmmaking at the London Film Academy. Here, I directed my first short film, "Goodbye," which was shot on a 16mm camera and selected for several film festivals.
I also edited the short films "Unbound" and "Silent Night," the latter of which was a unique experience due to its use of sign language, offering a fresh challenge in editing dialogue scenes.
Additionally, I expanded my skill set by working as the director of photography on the short film "Little Explosion."
As I continue to learn, explore, and evolve in this ever-changing industry, I remain dedicated to pursuing my dreams and turning them into reality.
